We are pupils of the 4th form. We live in Troparyovo-Nikulino.
There are a lot of historical and interesting places. The Olympic
Village was built near Moscow in 1980. The Olympic Games have a long and
interesting history. They became the symbol of peace and friendship.
Winter Olympic Games took place in 1924. There were competitions in many
kinds of sport: skiing, skating, ice hockey and others. The 22nd Summer
Olympic Games were held in Moscow in 1980. Our sportsmen won 80 gold,
69 silver and 46 bronze medals during the Games. The Vladimir Nazarov’s
theatre was built in 2002. We сan see there performance for adults and
children. Such as «Cinderella», «Muha-Tsokotuha», «Tale about tsar
Saltan», «Twelve months», «Stone flower», «The Enchanted forest», «The
Kingdom of forgotten toys», «The Night before Christmas». The Defence of
Moscow State Museum was built in 1981. There are more than 23000
subjects and guns. And there is a real multiple rocket launcher
«Katusha». Children often like climb on it. But it is very dangerous!
The «Festival» (on Michurinskom Prospect) well-known as shopping and
entertainment center in Moscow. This often attracts people from all over
the city. There is a cinema, a lot of beautiful and big shops, cafes
and so on. We can spend all our weekends with our family.
